A Cleveland Morning

Went to Lakewood Park and proceeded down on the path to find a glorious morning view of the City on the water.  Standing beyond some rocks gave me a great perspective to capture this great morning.  It was a hot and muggy morning but my friend and I were perfectly comfortable with the breeze from the lake and some trees among the rocks to shade us.

Horseshoe Lake

This was a great day for plein air painters.  There were many of us gathered around this lake that was aglow with many colors and patterns.  The weather was perfect as was the company.  We all got together after painting to share our work and give opinions to each other.  Doesn't get much better when it comes to gatherings and weather.

On a Hill

This bright little barn attracted my attention while painting on a Wednesday with my plein air painters group.  This was at a park named Chippewa Lake but I decided to paint the landscape which surrounded the lake.  Evidently this was property privately owned siding with the park area.

Framed

My son owns property in Harrison County Ohio and my husband and I have a trailer there for a relaxing retreat place.  The property is an artists delight. It has an actual babbling brook and huge hills and valleys of undisturbed nature except for some mowed areas inorder to get around on 4 wheelers and around the barn and trailer areas.  I call this painting framed as I came across this almost framed piece of nature with a half dead tree in the center.  Awesome morning by myself in this large natural space.
